Driver side: suspension rebuild

Driver side: suspension- started here. Lots of old parts already removed.

Driver side: suspension- upper control arm. showing the old original shock which was complete dead.

Driver side: suspension- old upper and lower arm ball joints.

Driver side: suspension- brake line/brake hose connector bracket.

Driver side: suspension- strut bar, sand blasted showing old bushings.

Driver side: suspension- strut bar old bushings.

Driver side: suspension- sandblasted sway bar connectors. Showing old bushings.

Driver side: suspension- upper control arm cleaned and primed.

Driver side: suspension- lower control arm, cleaned, primed.

Driver side: suspension- under the lower control arm before sanding and priming.

Driver side: suspension- new upper control arm ball joint.

Driver side: suspension- new Goodyear Wrangler tires 365/75/15. Nothing fancy as I do not go off road intentionally.
Toyota rims.I've still got to sandblast and paint or powder coat these.



Driver side: suspension- Calmini kit for 86 Trooper. A friend who worked at the recycle center gave me this kit. Someone was throwing a bunch of car stuff in a large container away. I got lucky.

Driver side: suspension- inner tie rods are in good shape. Owner before me must have had them replaced.

Driver side: suspension- brake hose, calliper, Calmini shock installed.


Driver side: suspension- Sway bar is only thing left on this side to do.
